The Governmental Affairs Department of the American Physical Therapy
Association notes that election results impact healthcare. While not
endorsing any particular candidate, the APTA provides a good summary of the
political situation of each state.

IELTS ANNUAL REVIEW PUBLISHED
IELTS recently released their 2003 annual report, which details their
accomplishments in the past year.

CIS CONTINUES USE OF THE I-551 STAMP
Earlier this month, there was a rumor passed along internet message boards
that the CIS would discontinue to allow travel on I-551 “ADIT” temporary
immigrant visa stamps. The CIS recently confirmed that the temporary stamps
continue to have the same legal significance.

HIGHLIGHT: INFOPASS
The CIS’ Infopass is a web-based appointment system whereby an applicant for
an immigration benefit can schedule an appointment at a local CIS office. It
has recently been implemented nationally. Many clients have applauded the
CIS for this system. HLG echoes this sentiment.
