CIS CONTINUES USE OF THE I-551 STAMP
Earlier this month, there was a rumor passed along internet message boards that the CIS would discontinue to allow travel on I-551 “ADIT” temporary immigrant visa stamps. The CIS recently confirmed that the temporary stamps continue to have the same legal significance.

HIGHLIGHT: INFOPASS
The CIS’ Infopass is a web-based appointment system whereby an applicant for an immigration benefit can schedule an appointment at a local CIS office. It has recently been implemented nationally. Many clients have applauded the CIS for this system. HLG echoes this sentiment.
