NEW TALENT WELCOMED TO HLG

Hammond Law Group, LLC welcomes two new attorneys to our team.  Peter Lee brings a unique perspective to the practice of immigration law.  Peter arrived by way of fishing boat in the United States from Vietnam in 1981.  He has joined our Cincinnati headquarters.  Chris Smallwood will head our Washington D.C. operations.  He has degrees in linguistics as well as law, and knows Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch and the Scandinavian languages.

NCLEX INTERNATIONALLY IN JANUARY 2005
The NCLEX exam will be offered internationally in January 2005, at the earliest. NURSE CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN MULTIPLE I-140'S
The U.S. Consulate in Chennai, India has confirmed that a Registered Nurse with multiple I-140 approvals can choose which I-140 to use at the time of the consulate interview. The U.S. Embassy in Manila, Philippines also allows a nurse to choose between multiple I-140 approvals.

CONSULATES REQUIRING CURRENT JOB OFFER LETTER
Most consulates are requiring Registered Nurses to present a current, notarized job offer letter from the employer at the time of the consulate interview. Consulates are requiring the letter as proof that the job offer still exists.
